Steven Craig Blue, born March 21, 1954, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2023, after a long battle with lung cancer.
Steven dreamed of driving semi-trucks and was able to drive over the road for the past three years. He was a man of great faith and attended church regularly. Steve attended every family function and was always there to comfort and support during every family tragedy.
Steven was preceded in death by his father Walter Charles Blue, and his mother Dolores Beatrice Blue. He is survived by his partner of 23 years Cherie Bigelow; their children Calynthia Blue (Andre), Jamie (Danny) Humphreys, Shawn (Nattalie) Moore, Josephine (Daniel) Valencia; sixteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; step-mother Jeanette Blue; and brother Kevin (Jen) Blue.
A viewing will be held at Tate Mortuary, 110 S. Main St., Tooele, Utah, Friday, March 3, 2023, from 9:30-10:45 a.m.; funeral service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Tooele City Cemetery. Following the burial, a luncheon will be provided by the LDS Church, 1030 S. 900 West, Tooele, Utah.
The family would like to offer a special thank you to Stephanie and Heather from Harmony Hospice for the loving and gentle care they gave Steven in his final days.
Steven was loved and will be missed greatly.
