Loris Hanson Sheets, 74, of Pine Canyon, Utah, died early Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015. Our dear wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away from Alzheimer’s disease. Mom was born April 30, 1940 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, to Raymond and Doris Hanson. Loris graduated from Tooele High School in 1958, where she exceled in all that she did (cheerleader, Pep Club president and class officer to name a few). Mom has accomplished many great things in her life, and has been a true inspiration to all, especially her family. She was a published author and loved to write, write and write (and talk, talk and talk some more!) There will be a big void in our life without her here, but we know that she will continue to be the strong and beautiful person she is and conquer what lies ahead. Mom was active in the LDS Church throughout her life and loved the wards she lived in. Mom is survived by her husband Eddie Sheets, son Paul Frailey (Tracy), daughter Allison Turner (Tom), grandchildren: Lauren, Erin and Elliot Frailey; Stephanie Busico, Greg Lloyd, Jordan Gamble, Teresa Turner, T.J. Turner; great-grandchildren: Gabriel Rael, Havyn Vargas and Jonas Turner. Siblings: Lorine (Creamy) Hanson, Loraine (Beasa-Hanson) Peel, Beverly Stevens and Raymond Hanson. Mom was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Doris Hanson, grandson Zachary Gamble, and dogs Chico, Schlep and Bandit. A very special thanks to the Magnolia House staff and residents, Pine Mountain Hospice and Loris’ friend and bodyguard Leslie. Visitation and funeral services will be held Feb. 28, 2015, at the LDS Carr Fork Ward, 2045 Churchwood Dr., Pine Canyon, Utah.
