Raymond Leslie Anderson
Raymond Leslie Anderson passed away Tuesday, July 26, at the age of 68 at his home in Tooele. Raymond was born April 7, 1948, to Lawrence J. and Ruth E. Anderson, the second of their seven children. He was a lifelong resident of Tooele, Utah, and leaves behind numerous friends and associates who have expressed their love and admiration of him to the family. Ray always had a kind heart. He loved his family and always made them feel of his love for them. He gave of himself whenever the need arose, whether it was fixing plumbing or clearing a yard of branches pruned in the spring. He always did his best to take care of his mother and see that she had what she needed. Many of his neighbors reaped the benefits of his willingness to serve as well. Ray delighted in hard work. He was a man of many talents and worked at various different jobs during his life. These included newspaper delivery as a boy, farming as a teenager, working after graduation from Tooele High School with electronics at the Tooele Army Depot, reupholstering furniture and spending the majority of his career in construction. All of his employers and customers appreciated his attention to detail and promptness in completing tasks assigned to him. He always did his best to please them. Ray is survived by his mother Ruth Ellen Anderson; brothers Dana (Sharon), Richard (Angela) and Steven (Natalie); sisters Susan Lee (Jay), Kathryn Nunley and Patricia Turner (Steve), 14 nephews and five nieces. He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence John Anderson; brother-in-law Jay Lee and sister-in-law Angela Anderson. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016 at 10 a.m. in the Tooele 14th Ward chapel located at 192 W. 200 South, Tooele, Utah. Family and friends are invited to visit after the service in the cultural hall. There will be no viewing prior to the services.
David Andrew Lassen
Our wonderful and most loved fiancé, son, brother, dad, grandpa, uncle, and friend, David Andrew Lassen, 52, returned to his Heavenly Father on Aug. 2, 2016 after a long and valiant fight with chronic illness. He was born and raised in Tooele, Utah. David was a military veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force as a firefighter for several years. After leaving the military, he was employed at Hill Air Force Base as an EMS dispatcher until he retired in February of this year. David had a passion for antique cars, fire engines and trains. His greatest love is his family. David leaves behind the love of his life and soulmate, fiancé Marty Davis; his mom Carol Lassen; sister Julie (Rick) Bell and his children Johnathon (Tanya), Heather (Shawn), Steven, Matt (Lindsie), Andrew Martin and Amanda. He also leaves behind 10 beloved grandchildren, Matthew, Serenity, Kameryn, Avia, Dixie, Isabella, Brandon, Wyatt, Jace and Liam, who were the light of his life. David also leaves behind many other family members and friends who love and will miss him every day. David is the sunshine in our day and the stars in our night. He had an awesome sense of humor and an infectious smile. He reunites with his grandparents, sister, and other family members in heaven. The funeral will be held Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016, at Tate Mortuary in Tooele. Earl Jones Jr. (Tex)
Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Earl Jones Jr. (Tex), a special uncle to all, is free from battling Parkinson’s disease on Aug. 2, 2016, in Tremonton, Utah.
He was born in Mabank, Texas, on Oct. 6, 1932, to Earl Sr. and Effie Lee Bullard. He was raised there and attended school. He joined the Air Force in 1951. He was stationed in Wyoming and Texas. He also spent a year in Fort Lewis, Washington, with the Berlin Crisis. While on leave to Moroni, Utah, he met his sweetheart Connie Everett. They were married March 8, 1955, and later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He worked at the Tooele Army Depot in many places. He retired after 35 years. He loved to camp and fish with family and friends also going to Arizona in the winter. He had many callings in the LDS church. He is survived by his wife and children Diane (Roger) Cooper, Lynette Sustacha, Earl (Doris) Jones and Robert (Sherry) Jones; also 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Ruth; brother-in-law Donald Flowers and son-in-law Jon Sustacha. Funeral services are Monday, Aug. 8, at 11 a.m. at the 14th Ward, 192 W. 200 South, Tooele, Utah, with visitation an hour prior. A viewing will be held Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Tate Mortuary, 110 S. Main Street, Tooele, Utah. Interment will be at the Tooele City Cemetery. Special thanks to hospice, kitchen staff, active staff, nursing staff, CNA staff and Dr. Schow.
James F. Phizacklea
James F. Phizacklea, 96, of Wendover, Utah, died Aug. 6, 2016. Jim was born Oct. 1, 1919, in Bingham, Utah to Fredrick George and Phoebe Ann Phizacklea. He grew up in Murray, Utah and attended Murray High School. Jim served honorably in the Army during World War II. When he returned home, he and his brother started a water well drilling business, in which Jim continued after his brother passed away. He married Jean Garlick and moved to Wendover, where they lived for more than 50 years. Jim retired from the potash plant in Wendover, where he worked as a welder. Jim is survived by his wife, Jean; a son, Fred (Tamie) of West Wendover, Nevada and a daughter, Connie (Bruce) of Wendover, Utah; grandchildren Brooke (Andrew), Korinn (Noe), Jamie, Derek, Amanda (Jerrik), Scott and Randy; step-grandchildren Ian (Wai), Nathan (Bev) and Collin; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 12, 2016, at the Wendover LDS Church: viewing — 9:30 a.m., services — 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Wendover Cemetery.
Edith Mae Lovell
Edith Mae Lovell, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt, returned to her Father in Heaven peacefully on Aug. 6, 2016, surrounded by her family. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. Edith was born to Myron Vest and Catherine Wilson Vest on July 17, 1927, in Lynndyl, Utah. She was the youngest of five children. She married the love of her life, William Lovell, on May 21, 1945, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized for time and all eternity in the Manti Temple on July 6, 1963. They were happily married for 66 years. William and Edith had four children, Karla (Fred Lowry), William David (Phyllis), Vesta (Stacy Jacobs) and Lorna (Ty Goodspeed). Edith worked various jobs including as a cook for the Tooele County School District at Tooele High, a hotel maid in Portland, Oregon and she loved planting flowers for a nursery on Redwood Road. Her church callings included serving as a Sunday school teacher, mutual advisor, librarian and a temple worker. As a young woman, Edith was blessed with a beautiful singing voice. She would ride the train from Lynndyl, Utah to Salt Lake City to take voice lessons from Alexander Schreiner. She loved to sing and shared her talent whenever she was asked. She loved the outdoors, especially camping with her husband, children and grandchildren. Edith was always happy and willing to participate in activities with her grandchildren. You could find her floating a river, hiking a mountain, playing marbles, jacks and hopscotch and riding the slides at water parks. She also made the time to buy art supplies and teach her grandchildren how to paint a picture while camping. No matter what the outcome of the pictures, she praised one and all for the effort that was made. She had a passion for artistic painting and became a very good artist. She was preceded in death by her husband William Lovell; her parents Myron and Catherine Gaye Wilson Vest; brothers Myron Cornell and Samuel Eugene Vest; sisters Althea Blanche Vest Gronning and Katie Myla Vest Roundy and sons-in-law Stacy and Ty. She is survived by her children, 16 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nephews, nieces and their families. At her request, no viewing will be held. A brief funeral and interment will take place in the Mona, Utah, Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Aug. 10, 2016. Dean Clark Cole
Dean Clark Cole, of Deming, New Mexico, born Dec. 30, 1937, passed away on July 26, 2016, following an auto accident that occurred 16 days earlier. Dean is survived by his wife Fay Cole, his daughter Susan King (apple of his eye), son-in-law Paul King of Dallas, Texas, and his brother Earl Cole of Tooele, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Hulda Cole of Tooele and his sister-in-law, Rita Cole. Dean was born in Provo, Utah and graduated from Tooele High in 1956. He went on to earn a degree from Westminster College. He married Jessie Fay Judd of Tooele on Nov. 6, 1959. Dean pursued a career in the computer industry where he retired in 1995. Dean started a hobby in ham radio at age 12 and enjoyed that hobby until his death. His knowledge of engineering, computers and mathematics allowed him to create many computer programs that are enjoyed by the entire ham radio family. Dean had many friends, many of which he met over his ham radio. Dean enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hunting, and fishing which he shared with his wife, Fay, as well as his brother Earl and sister-in-law Rita. Dean’s ham radio hobby strongly influenced Dean and Fay’s choice of places to live, which were many over the years. They lived in Utah, Colorado, Texas, Arizona and finally settled in New Mexico in 2005. Dean was a devoted husband, father, brother and son. Dean will be missed by his family, friends, and the entire ham radio community. A private funeral service was held for the family.
Ruth Anderson
Ruth Anderson passed away Saturday, Aug. 6 in the Rocky Mountain Care facility in Tooele. Ruth was born July 21, 1924 in Tooele, Utah to Paul and Emma Sterzer Meng, the second of seven children. Paul had three daughters and two sons from a previous marriage, all who have passed away. Ruth lived a full life of hard work, starting with helping on the family farm in Tooele. She worked as a waitress, a cook, and in many other positions. She enjoyed singing and loved to volunteer for the Utah Symphony. Everyone who knew her knew of her love of gardening. She was always proud of her beautiful yard and flowers. Her favorite job was caring for her family. She truly made all of her children feel loved and appreciated. Ruth married the love of her life, Lawrence John Anderson, on May 26, 1944. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Jordan River Temple. They had seven children and lived in Tooele for the majority of their married life. Ruth is survived by her children Dana (Sharon), Susan Lee, Richard, Steven (Natalie), Patricia Turner (Steven) and Kathryn Nunley; 14 grandsons and five granddaughters; 14 great-grandsons and 15 great-granddaughters; brother John Meng and sister Delia (Sam) Holbrook. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence J. Anderson; son Raymond Anderson; son-in-law Jay Lee (Susan); daughter-in-law Angela Anderson (Richard); sisters Evelyn (Loren) Hudson, Louise Meng and Beatrice (John) Olieken and brother David Meng. Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 12, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the Tooele 14th Ward building, 192 W. 200 South. A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. before the services. Interment will be in the Tooele City Cemetery.
Marilyn “Lonnie Sue” Tinnin
Marilyn “Lonnie Sue” Tinnin, 80, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Through all of her pain and suffering she could always find the lighter side of any situation, and that is why we loved her so. She was born March 16, 1936, in Fredericktown, Missouri to Olin “Togie” and Hazel “Hazie” Miller. She married Harold Tinnin on July 22, 1955. Harold passed away Sept. 19, 1977. She is survived by three children: Susan (Bill) Hodges, Doug (Andrea) Tinnin and Michelle (Todd Young) Tinnin. Her 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren were her pride and joy. Mom was a loving, courageous and strong woman. She always showed concern for others even in her pain. Nothing made her happier than cooking and baking for her family and friends. She was famous for her home-cooked meals and desserts, especially her peach cobbler, sugar cookies and pies. She had a contagious laugh and sweet disposition. Ralph Edward Patton III (Ralphy)
Ralphy was one of a kind. For those who knew him, they knew someone special was in their lives. His smile, his stories, and his love for those in his life was what shone through in his presence. Ralphy loved everything outdoors, especially fishing and camping with friends and family. He loved the beautiful things like flowers, the redwoods, mountains and the oceans, and would not hesitate to remark on their beauty. His pride and joy were his children. You have never seen such love as what he had for them, so protective and caring. They had him wrapped around their fingers. It is amazing how their little hearts changed Ralphy so much. The day he became a father, Ralphy became the person he was meant to be. We just didn’t know it ended there. He was born May 14, 1989, to father Ralph E. Patton II and mother Laurie M. Beaver. He was preceded in death by Veronica K. Patton. He is survived by wife Megan Graham; children Ellie Hunt, Maddison Graham and Aaron Patton; brother Troy A. Patton; sisters Trisha A. Patton, Tabitha M. Patton, Crystal M. Patton, Brittainy J. Patton and Sadie J. Patton; nephews Tyler S. Hainsworth, Gaige W. Hainsworth, Kenneth L. Snyder, Kasper V. Parker and Taj A. Call, and nieces Jade C. Hainsworth, Kylie A. Ledbetter, Ariana K. Snyder and Charlotte M. Parker. The funeral will be held Thursday, Aug. 11 at 253 W. 400 North from 10:30-11:30. Evelyn Alice Lape’ Christensen Asmus
Evelyn Alice Lape’ Christensen Asmus took her final earthly journey when she passed away on Aug. 8, 2016.
She was born on the Workman family farm in Hinckley, Utah on July 13, 1935, to Dederick Laval Lape’ and Anna Louise Workman Lape’. She lived in Hinckley, Utah until the age of 4 when her mother remarried to Owen Christensen, at which time the family moved to Park City, Utah. When she was in the fourth grade, the family moved to Tooele Army Depot Park in Tooele, Utah where she finished her schooling and graduated from Tooele High School in 1953. While attending high school, she enjoyed being on a synchronized swim team, learned and excelled at sewing, and was named first attendant in the Miss TAD Pageant. She married William Walk in 1954 and moved to Grantsville where they raised three sons and a daughter: Arnold, Mitch, Melody and Tracy. Evelyn devoted her time in Grantsville by sharing her talents as an excellent seamstress, where she made many dresses, formals and wedding dresses for friends and neighbors. She also became the first owner and operator of the State Liquor Agency in Grantsville. She was also a member the Beta Sigma Phi where she continued to learn about social etiquette. In 1976, Evelyn moved to Salt Lake City after her marriage to William dissolved. She continued working for the State Liquor Agency. She continued to learn by taking classes at the University of Utah on wine appreciation, which sparked a love with all aspects of wine. She became a wine connoisseur and a local expert. She helped create the first wine specialty store in Utah, where she became known as the Wine Lady. Many people would come in to seek out her help with wine selection and etiquette. In 1987, Evelyn married Steve Asmus. They soon moved to St. George, Utah where they enjoyed southern Utah together. She continued to share her love of wine by teaching many wine appreciation classes and making many friends doing so. In 1998, Evelyn was able to reconnect in a way with her late father through her newfound family and seven siblings in Guam. This opened a whole new chapter for her, where she was able to visit Guam and her family on two occasions. Here, she leaned much about her father, with him being a merchant marine during World War II and his family life in Guam. Our mom was an avid Utah Jazz fan who loved to travel and never missed the Spoken Word and Mormon Tabernacle Choir each Sunday morning. Mom was loved very much and will be missed by all those fortunate enough to know her. Evelyn was the mother of four children, Arnold Walk, Mitchell (Diana) Walk, Melody Walk (Glade) Rupp and Tracy (Mary) Walk. She was a proud grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her companion Dick Isom and her nine siblings, Robert (Beverly) Dimitt, Virginia (Jim) Danner, Fred (Karla) Christensen, Dorothy (Frank) San Nicolas, Nora (Jerry) Lape’-Ingersoll, Douglas (Lilly) Lape’, Mildred Lape’, Dederick (Cheryl) Lape’ and Florence (Kin) Barcinas. She was preceded in death by all her parents, her husband Steve Asmus and her two siblings, Carl (Pat) Christensen and Peter Lape’. Services will be held Saturday, August 13 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah 84106. Visitation will be from 10-10:45 a.m. with funeral to follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Wasatch Memorial Park. The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to the staff on the fourth floor of Dixie Regional Medical Center, Sunrise Home Health & Hospice and to everyone who gave of themselves to show our family love, kindness and support.

Christopher Allen Warr, born Aug. 12, 1987, in Tooele, Utah, passed away suddenly on July 31, 2016. Christopher has been reunited with his parents, Jeri Christine (Madill) Warr and Monte Allen Warr; son, Randy Allen Warr; grandpa, James Madill and best friend, Eric Martinez. He is survived by his son, Brently Dallen Warr; Brently’s mother, Starling Hutchison; half-sister, Kayla and step-sister Taylor; grandparents, Nancy Madill of Tooele and Monte and Beverly Warr of Erda; and many aunts, uncles and cousins who love and miss him dearly. Christopher had a great love for the outdoors. He enjoyed camping, fishing and riding horses. He loved bull riding and roping with his dad and grandpa. Christopher put a smile on everyone’s face with his teasing and joking. He would often remind us not to take life too seriously, to smile and just have fun. A limb has fallen from our family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says “Grieve not for me. Remember the best time, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls. I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin. Until the day comes we’re together again.”

Lois Hansen Boswell
Lois passed away peacefully at home after a long illness with her heart on Aug. 16, 2016. She was born July 26, 1922, in Goshen, Utah. She was the daughter of Fred and Myrtle Hansen of Goshen. She had three sisters and two brothers. She is the mom of four daughters: Maxine (Bill) Jacobs, Judy (Dewee) Sorensen, Deeanna (Jim) Wilkes and Leeanna (Don) Freeman. She has six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings andtwo daughters (Judy and Leeanna). She was a member and officer of the Eastern Stars for many years. She loved playing bingo, reading, embroidery, playing cards and watching the wild birds in her yard. Her favorite thing was just spending time with her family and friends. At her request, a graveside service was held on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016, in the Tooele City Cemetery. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her and her memory will never leave our hearts.
Howard E. Wall
Howard E. Wall, a resident of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away peacefully on the morning of Aug. 21, 2016, at his home, following a lengthy illness. He was born Dec. 29, 1929, in Heber City, Utah to Cecil Wall and Mabel Mair Wall. He graduated from the University of Utah and served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. His employers include Arthur Andersen, General Dynamics, Dun & Bradstreet, Field Enterprises, and the Washington Post. He also served in numerous volunteer capacities in colleges, universities, hospitals, and various other community and political organizations. He was married for nearly 60 years to Deloris Katherine Blumke, who died in 2009. He married Alda Lois Cotten in 2010. Survivors include his wife Lois; his son Edward Wall (Kay) of Centennial, Colorado; his son David Wall (Julie) of Lake Oswego, Oregon; three grandsons and their families; two granddaughters and their families; Lois’s children Shauna and Ray and their families; a sister-in-law Nellie Larson Wall; and brother-in-law Clark Muhlestein, in addition to numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, great-grandchildren and other loved ones. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. at the Arcadia Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 4225 N. 56th Street in Phoenix, Arizona on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016. There will be no viewing or interment ceremonies. He loved to serve others and was a great blessing in the lives of many people. He knew with unshakable certainty that life is eternal and that he would be reunited with loved ones who had gone before. Charlene Zobell Ruiz
Charlene Zobell Ruiz passed away peacefully on Aug. 21, 2016. She was born Dec. 31, 1941, to Charles and Buela Zobell in Price, Utah.
Charlene enjoyed spending time with her family, watching old movies, and doing puzzles. She especially enjoyed spending her days with her daughter Crei, who always made sure Charlene was taken care of. Charlene is survived by her children; Pamela (Austin) Weaver, Ron (Gina) Ruiz and Crei (Ric) Yost. She is the grandmother of Clarissa, A.J. and Krista Weaver, Mandy Garcia, Neko, Marcus and Abigail Ruiz, Randi (Tim) Tanner, Karena Davis, Natasha Yost, Emerald Scott and Ozzy Tanner. She will be dearly missed by all. A viewing will be held Friday, Aug. 26, 2016, from noon-1 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary, 680 E. 100 South, Price, Utah, with a graveside service to follow at Wellington Cemetery.
Chad D. Durfee
Chad D. Durfee, our loving husband, dad, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 20 surrounded by family. Chad was born on March 15, 1963, in Oakland, California to Constance Bailey Durfee and Milo Vaughn Durfee. The family moved to Taylorsville, Utah in 1969. He graduated from Kearns High School in 1981, after which he served a full-time LDS mission in the Mexico City North Mission. Upon returning he married his sweetheart and eternal companion Linda “Jill” Larson on August 8, 1984. He was an Eagle Scout and loved working with the youth. He valued hard work and was a man of faith, always believing in our Savior Jesus Christ. Chad diligently worked 26 years for a software company, where he developed many lifelong friendships and was provided the opportunity to travel and see the world. He was a man of many talents who inspired others by his actions and example. He enjoyed being a member and serving with the Sons of Utah Pioneers. His greatest joys came from watching the achievements of his kids and grandkids. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Milo and Constance Durfee. Chad is survived by his wife, Jill; children Camber (Allison) of West Valley, Shea (Shellece) of Logan, Dustin (Jentry) of Ogden, Dane (Chelsea) of Ogden, Callie (Kaleb Killpack) of Grantsville, Bren and Neena; grandkids Khai, Jace, Lily and Everean Killpack; siblings Vaughn, Janell, Warren, Jeff, Milo and Tyler and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 26, 2016, at 1 p.m. in the 6th Ward building, 81 N. Church Street in Grantsville, with a viewing Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday prior to the services from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Interment will be at the Grantsville Cemetery. Don Frankland Remington
Don passed away on Aug. 13, 2016, at Huntsman Cancer Hospital in Salt Lake City after a short battle with cancer. Don was born Sept. 23, 1951, in Salt Lake City to Newell C. Remington (deceased) and Winnifred Kennard Remington Call (deceased). Don grew up in Salt Lake City and graduated from Highland High School. Don served a two year full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mexico, baptizing over 200 Saints. He graduated from Brigham Young University in mechanical engineering. His first major employer was Bechtel Engineering in Phoenix, Arizona for three years. He then worked for Northrop Grumman until his retirement in 2012. Don was married to Diana Proctor in 1982 (divorced). Don also married Christine Rose in 1996 (divorced); step-children are Scott, Jeremy, Jacob and Cassi. Don became an international expert and military advisor regarding missiles launched from submarines. He loved physics and mathematics and loved to dream about engineering projects. He became well sought after as an expert witness for accident reconstruction cases involving extremely large sums of money. He is survived by brothers David N. Remington (Shirlene) of Erda, Utah and John (Doug) Remington (Bonnie) of Salt Lake City, Utah. Don’s laid-back and friendly personality endeared him to those he met. He loved to share his engineering knowledge with others by showing them how things worked. He had recently worked as a volunteer at a community education center helping students and others with mathematics and physics. He will be greatly missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who knew and loved him. Services were held Monday, Aug. 22, 2016, at 1 p.m. at the Edgehill Ward, 1750 S. 1500 East, Salt Lake City, Utah. Friends called on Monday from 11:30-12:45 p.m. Interment took place at Wasatch Lawn Cemetery, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah.
Lois Rivera
Lois Rivera, born Oct. 6, 1969, in Uvalde, Texas, passed away at the Mountain West Medical Center in Tooele, Utah at the age of 46. She is survived by her mother Victoria Ramirez and young siblings Max Ramirez, Jesse Ramirez and Angela Ramirez. She was preceded in death by Raquel Ramirez and Anthony Ramirez. Lois enjoyed dancing, music, puzzles, coloring, making bracelets and telling stories. She will be greatly missed by her aunt Leticia Olmos, uncle Manuel Olmos and cousins Ricardo Solis, Manuel Olmos Jr., Javier Olmos, Carlos Olmos and relatives of the Rivera family.
Philip Edward Chamberlain
Philip Edward Chamberlain died Monday, Aug. 29, 2016, in Tooele, Utah. Phil was born in American Fork, Utah to Afton and Katherine Chamberlain on June 16, 1942. The oldest of three siblings, Phil was raised in Cedar Fort, Utah and loved reading, hunting, fishing, and enjoyed playing and watching sports. In 1964 Phil was drafted into the U.S. Army and was stationed in Fort Riley, Kansas. He married Carla Sagers on Nov. 18, 1988. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple in 1992. Phil could always be found watching sports. He was a lifelong fan of the Utah Jazz and Oakland Raiders. He enjoyed being around family and loved his time spent working in the Salt Lake Temple. Phil is survived by his wife, one daughter Melissa, three sons, Mark, Chance, and Scott (Madeline). He is also survived by his brothers Curtis (Sue) Chamberlain, Spencer Chamberlain and one sister Margaret (Bill) Stephens-Jordan. He is preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 2, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the Grantsville LDS West Stake Center at 115 E. Cherry Street, Grantsville, Utah. There will be a viewing the night before from 6-8 p.m. at the same location and again prior to the services from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Grantsville City Cemetery.
