Leonard Orson Ault was born July 3, 1943, in Lehi, Utah, to Alvin Owen and Vinnie Hacking Ault. He had many happy memories growing up in Cedar Fort, Utah.
Leonard married his sweetheart, Judy Bryan on Sept. 30, 1966. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple on May 28, 1980, and recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 30, 2016.
Leonard loved his family, especially his grandchildren, all animals, any kind of rock, racing cars and motorcycles, riding horses, being outdoors (particularly in the mountains and in Ophir Canyon), playing jokes and telling stories.
He was a very kind, genuine and compassionate man who always put others before himself and didn’t judge anyone. He made everyone feel special and always had a smile on his face.
Leonard is survived by wife Judy; children Monica (Eric) Godfrey, Shane (Shara) Ault and Wayne (Kenzie) Ault, and brothers Louis and Leo Ault, and he is also survived by grandchildren Ashley, Taylor and Tyler Godfrey; Nathan, Carly and Bryan Ault; Oakley, Caison, Ryker and Lexi Ault, and Jaiden Swensen.
