Helen Boltz, 81, passed away Nov. 30, 2016. She was born Feb. 14, 1935, to Robert Otto and Leola Murray. She was a lifelong resident of Tooele. She married J. Clair Fields; together they had three sons. They divorced and she later married Glen “Buck” Boltz. They spent their summers in Island Park, Idaho, boating, fishing and camping until his death in 1998. She was an avid golfer for many years and entered various tournaments with her sons Mike and TR. Helen worked for Safeway and Albertsons until her retirement in 2000. She was a member of the Eagles Women’s Auxiliary and the Women of the Moose. Helen was preceded in death by both parents; her husband Buck; one brother, Bob; and one sister, Eloise. She is survived by her three boys and their families: Gordon (Sha) Fields, Mike (Marci) Fields and Ted (Kerrie) Fields; one brother, Ron; four sisters, Phyllis, Sandy, Kathy and Susan; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews. We will miss her infectious laugh and her kind and loving spirit. A graveside service and interment will be held Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016, at 1 p.m. at the Tooele Cemetery.
