Gus Deno Buzianis, 88, passed away peacefully Dec. 22, 2014 at his home on the family farm in Middle Canyon in Tooele, Utah. He was surrounded by his loving family, and will be dearly missed by those that knew and loved him. He was born July 27, 1926, to Tommy and Mary (Panopoulos) Buzianis. He never married but dedicated his life to hard work on the family farm. He loved riding horses and working on the farm with his family, first in the dairy business (Brookside Dairy), and then with his brother Louis, farming, ranching and custom farming for others (G & L Ranch). He is survived by his sisters Letta Valkis and Irene Colbath, sister-in-law Dina Buzianis and brother-in-law John Rhodes, nephews and nieces, Tom Buzianis, Peter and Lisa Buzianis and Maria and Robert Griffith, great nieces Montana Buzianis and Brittany Griffith. His passing will leave a deep void in our hearts. … We love you Theo Deno! We never could have done that without you! Viewing will be from 9-10:30 a.m., and funeral service will be from 11 a.m.-noon on Dec. 30, 2014 at Tate Mortuary, 110 S. Main Street in Tooele. Father Mario Giannopoulos from the Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church of Ogden will officiate. Interment will be in the Tooele City Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
