Obit Patricia Naylor
Patricia Ann Poulsen Naylor was born Aug. 5, 1930, in Ogden, Utah. She passed away June 4, 2016. Her parents were Marion and Everett Poulsen. When “Pat” was three years old, her family moved to Richfield, Utah, where she was raised. Pat graduated from Richfield High School, where she served as Student Body Vice President, and St. Benedict’s School of Nursing in Ogden, Utah. There she met Lynn Naylor. They were married in Richfield, Utah on Aug. 24, 1951, later solemnized in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. They later moved to Price, Utah where they raised their two daughters, Marin and Melinda. Patricia worked for Dr. Gorishek for many years and also taught nursing at CEU. She and Lynn had great memories of their friends, neighbors, and life in Price. She enjoyed fishing and a good bridge game. Upon retirement, they were able to do some traveling, which she also enjoyed. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Later, Pat and Lynn moved to Stansbury Park to be closer to their family. Patricia is survived by her daughters Marin (Steve) and Melinda (Kim) and grandchildren Sara (Tom), Mark (Allie), Alesha (Cruz), Travis and (Kasi). She was preceded in death by her parents, mother and father-in-law and her husband Lynn. Her family would like to thank Magnolia House Assisted Living in Tooele, Rocky Mountain Hospice, Dr. Bretton Newman, Liz and Mary Ann for all the loving care and kindness given to our mother. There will be a visitation at the Stansbury Park Stake Center, 417 E. Benson Drive, Stansbury Park, Thursday, June 9 from 11-11:30 a.m. followed by a service from 11:30-noon. Interment will be directly afterward at the Stansbury Park Cemetery, under the direction of Tate Mortuary in Tooele, Utah.
