It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Diane M. Crowe. Diane was born in Glendale, California, in May 1941. She grew up in La Crescenta and graduated from Glendale High School before going on to serve in the Air Force. While serving, she met and married the love of her life, Vernon L. Crowe. She would have stayed in the military, but the rules in the ’60s were such that pregnancy required an honorable discharge. She had two children. She remained an active homemaker after that, supporting her military husband from the home front. She served in numerous volunteer positions at all of the bases and communities where they lived: California; Okinawa, Japan; North Carolina; Texas; Germany and finally Utah. Diane was unfailingly kind and generous. She was the most forgiving woman that we have ever known. She loved her family without reservation or judgment. We will miss our mother and grandmother dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband and her mother and father. She is survived by her children, Patrick (Suzanna) Crowe and Theresa Crowe; her grandchildren, Taysha, Gabi, Isaiah, Connor, Sara and Rachel; and great-grandchildren Raven and Coda. We love you very much Mom and Grandma. Online memories and condolences may be shared at daltonhoopes.com.
