“Dan the Man has left the building.” Danny died April 11, 2016, at home surrounded by his loved ones. 
Danny was born Feb. 21, 1945, to Elinor and Lucia Herrera in Taos, New Mexico. He married Rita Herrera and together they had four children: Lisa (Joe) Cisneros, Danny “Kino” Herrera, LaFrance Herrera and Angel (Arnulfo) Hernandez. They also raised their granddaughter Margarita (Moises) Garcia. Danny was proud to have served his country during the Vietnam War. Danny was an amazing man who was loved and respected by all. He will be missed beyond measure. Viewing will be at Redwood Memorial Estates on April 14 from 6-8 p.m. followed by a Rosary Service.
