Pete G. Buzianis, 93, of Tooele, Utah, passed away peacefully March 22, 2024. Born July 8, 1930, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Gust and Ethel Buzianis, Pete was a dedicated and compassionate man known for his unwavering loyalty and love.

Pete led a fulfilling life as a hard-working equipment operator at Dugway Proving Grounds. He was a careful and humble man who took pride in his work, earning various awards throughout his career. More than his professional accolades, Pete found immense joy in his hobbies. He loved farming and snowmobiling, and in his younger years, he enjoyed horseback riding. Pete was also a proud member of the Tooele Bit and Spur and the Elks Lodge. He was a quiet man who did not seek the spotlight, but his dedication and loyalty were evident in everything he did. Proud of his Greek heritage, Pete was also a veteran, having served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.

Above all, Pete was a family man. His love for his wife, Joyce Jackson (dec.), and his family were the cornerstones of his life. He is survived by his loving children, Gus (Debbie) Buzianis, Valerie Lee, Randy (Dawn) Buzianis, Tina Grodé; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Joyce; parents Gust Buzianis and Ethel Bisiules; brothers Louie, Jim, George, Nick; sisters Mary, Acea; and grandson R.J. Buzianis. Pete was a loving and loyal husband, father, and friend. His quiet strength and humble heart will be remembered by all who knew him.

The family would like to express our appreciation to the staff at Cottage Glen and Willow Springs for the exceptional care they gave our dad.

Services will be held at a later date.

While we mourn the loss of Pete, we also celebrate his life and the love he shared with us. Please share your memories and photos of Pete on his memorial page. Your stories will help us remember this wonderful man who touched our lives in so many ways.
