Obit Maria Victoria MarshallMaria Victoria Marshall (Vicky) passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Tooele, Utah, Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021, due to complications from COVID-19 virus at the age of 52.

She is survived by her husband Jerry Stan Marshall Jr., step-children Becky Hardwick and Rick Marshall; sister and best friend Luisa Oraa (Art Elauria); and nephew Sam Luke Elauria; and five grandchildren Daisy Becerra, Liam Becerra, Elisa Becerra, Drake Hardwick and Anthony Marshall.

Vicky was born Feb. 19, 1969, in Manila, Philippines, to parents Ramon and Anacorita Ora’a and came to the United States in 2007 where she met her husband Jerry, on Sept. 13, 2008, and they were married Jan. 29, 2009.

She worked for many years on cruise ships, which allowed her to see numerous beautiful countries throughout the world and learn five different languages.

Vicky enjoyed camping, gardening, shooting, fishing, and spoiling her grandkids! She always made sure everyone was taken care of and showed her love through cooking. She found the perfect job at Cabela’s where her coworkers were also good friends. She was caring, intelligent, cultured, funny, witty, and detested having her picture taken. She would tell you her greatest accomplishment was being a wife, mom, grandma and aunt, and she was so proud of all her grandchildren and nephew!

She touched so many lives and will be missed by many. She will be often on our minds, and forever in our hearts!

“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.” – Irish proverb
