Lola Jefferies Johnson, 86, passed away peacefully Dec. 12, 2020. She was born Oct. 8, 1934, in Grantsville, Utah, the daughter of Daniel Paul and Alpha Judd Jefferies.
She loved Coke, cemeteries, dancing, the Utah Jazz, the Utah Utes, parades and the Grantsville Sociable. She supported any activity that her kids and grandkids or great-grandkids were in. She will be remembered for her countless hours of service to her family, friends and neighbors. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by her husband James of 66 years and five children: Paul (Christine), Mike (Sheri) Johnson, Sue (Kim) Christensen, LeeAnn and Kelly Johnson; her sister Lynn (Gary) Arbon; her 13 grandkids and 15 great-grandkids with another soon to arrive; and her favorite grand-dog Rosie.
The Sociable on the other side has begun. Family members there to greet her include her parents; her stepdad James (Wrathall) Matthews; sisters Shirley, Sharon, Nell and Jane Jefferies; her brother Lee Richard Jefferies; and her mother- and father-in-law Paul and Laura Johnson.
Due to COVID there will be a small service for the family. In memory of Sweet Lola have a nip of Coke and a long visit with a friend.
