Bernadette Arellano, 93 years old, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 12, 2020. She was born Oct. 18, 1927, in Costilla, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her mother Eloisa Arellano-Martinez, Albert Arellano, David Martinez, Robert Martinez and Charlie Martinez.
Bernadette was a school teacher for 24 years in Taos, New Mexico, Taos County Schools, as well as in Tooele County School District. She also taught at St. Theres Catholic Elementary Schools for five years at the Pueblo Archdioces, Pueblo, Colorado. She also worked at St. Marguerite Catholic School.
She is survived by Eli S Martinez, Praxedes F Martinez and Vincent and many nephews and nieces.
Services will be held Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020, 11:30 a.m., at St. Marguerite. A viewing will be held at Tate Mortuary from 10:30 to 11 a.m.
