Melissa Hemsley, 56, died of complications of ovarian cancer March 31, 2020. She is the daughter of Martha Fitpatrick and Gaylen Hemsley of Salt Lake City. She enjoyed bullet point journaling, sewing, and reading. She completed two missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Minneapolis, Minnesota, and the Family History Center, British Isles.
She is survived by Lorie (Dan) Hemsley, Thomas (Julie) Hemsley; nieces and nephews Monica, Jennifer, Aaron, and Tommy. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Mathew Hemsley; grandparents Catherine and Thomas Fitzpatrick, Ellen and Richard Hemsley.
Graveside services and interment will be held Friday, April 3, 2020, 11 a.m., Memorial Redwood Estates, 6500 S. Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
