Our patient, kind and loving husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully at home on April 9, 2015. Paul Anthony Hervat was born on July 3, 1936, in Tooele, Utah, to A. P. “Tony” and Mary Jellinich Hervat. He grew up in Tooele and graduated from Tooele High in 1954. On Sept. 13, 1961, he married Kay Greenland, the love of his life, in Tooele. They shared almost 54 years of happiness. Paul was the proud father of Greg and an even prouder grandpa of his “little peanut” Blake and his “little buddy” Jake. He loved them very much and showed them that love daily. Paul had a strong work ethic. He began working with his father at their family business, Radio Electric, when he was just a kid. When his father passed away, Paul continued to run the business while helping Kay raise Greg, driving a school bus and being a Tooele City volunteer fireman, all of which brought him much happiness. Paul was a dedicated and loving husband to Kay. He was the same kind of father, always loving and supporting Greg in everything he did from sports to taking their business in a different direction. Paul is survived by his loving family, wife Kay, son Greg, daughter-in-law Lesley, granddaughter Blake and grandson Jake Hervat, his brother Jim Hervat and many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, sisters Pat Van Tine, Sharree Peterson, infant twin brothers Frankie and Johnnie Hervat, and nephew Randy Van Tine. 
There will be a viewing at Tate Mortuary on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Tooele City Cemetery. Anyone who knew Paul can agree that there wasn’t a kinder, more patient man who never spoke an unkind word. We will miss him and his quiet presence. Goodbye for now Paul, we love you!
