Obit Clairene Eva Jones WarnerOur beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on March 2, 2015 in Grantsville, Utah. She was born January 22, 1938 in Tooele, Utah to Nathan and Eva Jones. She married Francis A. Warner on Feb. 22, 1963 in the Manti Utah Temple. Together they raised three children — Rebecca (Karl) Mortensen, Michael (Michelle) Warner and Matthew (Tobie) Warner. Clairene graduated from Tooele High, attended Utah State University, the Church College of Hawaii and graduated from Brigham Young University. She served as a missionary for the LDS Church in New Zealand where she immediately developed a lifelong love for the people and culture. She worked for many years at the Tooele Army Depot and Utah Housing Authority. Clairene loved her farm and the animals. She enjoyed waking up each morning and looking out over the lush green alfalfa fields, watching the cattle graze and her ducks swim. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. Every visit to her home was an adventure for her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, brother Gary Jones, sister Julie Jones, 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Francis and brothers Nathan and Phillip. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 6, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Grantsville 10th Ward, 81 Church St., Grantsville, Utah.  A viewing will be held prior to the funeral from 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Special thanks to her friends at Pine Mountain Hospice and the entire staff at Diamond Jane’s Assisted Living Center for their loving care.
