Born Oct. 9, 1950, to Phyllis and Merlin Higgs in Kaysville, Utah, LeAnn was fun and a great friend to people. She loved to color as a child and was a mama’s girl. Their family enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling together. On one fishing trip, everyone was catching fish, except for her. LeAnn’s dad felt bad and put one of the fish he had caught on her line when she wasn’t looking and put it back in the water. She was so excited to pull in her own fish.
LeAnn graduated from Davis High School in 1969 and married her first husband, Tom Ward after graduation. They later divorced.
She attended Painters Beauty College and worked as a hairdresser. She also worked in respiratory therapy at St. Benedicts Hospital and had other various jobs.
She married Danny Ray Olsen in the early 1980s. On Jan. 9, 1987, LeAnn gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Alice, who was stillborn. The death of her little Alice was one of LeAnn’s greatest losses. The couple later divorced.
LeAnn eventually met the love of her life, Michael Shelton McAdams, and the couple married Nov. 12, 2001 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They had very happy years together. Mike would often bring her roses and made her feel like a queen. They enjoyed motorcycle rides together and brought out the best in each other. They were in Bikers Against Child Abuse. LeAnn cared for him in his final years as he went through and lost the battle to Squamous Cell Cancer on Aug. 9, 2007.
A very determined woman, LeAnn lived independently up to the day before her death, even as she struggled with advanced COPD.
LeAnn was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Janeane Hobey; daughter, Alice; and her one true love, Michael.
She is survived by her two sisters, Catherine Nielsen and Elizabeth (James) Holmes; her husband Mike’s children: Tammy, Jackie, Ben, Andrew, Becki and Jeremy; step-mother, Trudy Higgs and her step siblings, David Poulus, Michael Poulus and Kathy Fladie; two nephews, a niece and their children.

For four years he served as principal at Wendover High School before returning to teaching.
He met Hildi Gottschalk in 1975 and they married in 1977 in the Salt Lake City Temple, bringing two stepchildren, Diana and Clifford, into the family. The people in his life, including his family, friends and students, gave him great joy. Sharon Lee Young
Sharon Lee Young, our precious love, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2018, after battling an illness that ultimately took her from this earth. Sharon was the very embodiment of goodness, friendship and love. She was without guile or malice or spitefulness. Everyone who knew her loved her and basked in her unconditional love in return.
Sharon was born in Tacoma, Washington, on Oct. 13, 1946. She was the daughter of Vera Marie Davis and Leo Roy Pitts, both of whom preceded her in death.
In 1991, Sharon came to make her home with her cousin and guardian, Frances Weddle and her husband, Terry Weddle. Sharon easily became a beloved member of the family by winning everyone’s heart and their deep devotion.
Sharon was an active member of Special Olympics for many years and accumulated many gold and bronze medals. She especially loved bowling and played in a league for several years. She also loved bocce ball and track as well as swimming. At home she enjoyed embroidery, for which she won several state fair ribbons. She enjoyed music, coloring and making birthday cards for family and friends. Sharon was also a member of the Moose Lodge and happily participated in Karoke night. She never stopped loving Elvis. Besides pictures of her parents, Elvis plates and posters cover the walls of her room. If she had been allowed she would have plastered them all over the house. His music always came first in her heart — with Conway Twitty a distant second.
In our sorrow we, her family, also rejoice that she is free of her broken body at long last and is no longer a broken winged angel that cannot fly.
Sharon is survived by Frances and Terry Weddle as well as other family members including: Rachel, Tyler, Isaac and Sander Spafford, and Christina, Ian, Brenna, and Colin Vokt, all of Tooele; and Terry Damron of Dallas, Texas. Also Robert Morton of Lewiston, Idaho; Brannon, Belen and Braden Jordan of Moscow, Idaho; Sandy Tippery of Boise, Idaho; Julie Pitts of Colorado; and James, Martha, John and Justin Pitts of Florida. Also, many Davis kin from California, Idaho and Kansas, plus a lifetime of friends.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 7, 2018, at the Overlake 5th Ward Stake Center, 200 W. 2200 North at 11 a.m., concluding with a light luncheon. Afterward, Sharon will make her last earthly journey to Yakima, Washington, where she will be laid down next to her father and mother in Terrace Heights Memorial Park.

She also attended SLCC where her favorite class was Toastmasters, which taught her how to enjoy public speaking. Her greatest achievement was being a wonderful wife and mother.
Dee married Lawrence Sidney Liddell on her birthday at Mount Charleston, Nevada, in 1974. On June 21, 1978, they were sealed for time and eternity in the Salt Lake Temple.
Dee served valiantly in many callings in the LDS Church, such as Relief Society President, Young Women President, and Primary President. She was devoted to the Lord and cherished the companionship of the Holy Ghost. During Dee’s 18- year career, she worked for FMC, DMBA, and DMC, where she was the executive secretary to the CEO.
She loved sewing/quilting, hiking in the mountains and sitting on the beaches of San Diego.
Dolores is survived by her husband, Lawrence Sidney; her children, Shawn and his wife Vida, Heather and her husband Ken; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Dolores and Junius; and sister, Sharon.
Thank you to Chris and the dialysis team who treated Dee with love and respect, and to hospice for their tender care in her last days. Thank you also to her many special friends who have been with Dee to the very end.
