Joyce Grogan Coulter, beloved wife, mother, and treasured friend, passed away Feb. 27, 2017, in Tooele, Utah. Joyce was born in Bingham Canyon on Jan. 18, 1929, to Robert Andrew and Vearl (Donaldson) Grogan. Joyce graduated from the LDS Hospital nursing program in 1950 and the University of Utah in 1951 and worked as a registered nurse in Salt Lake hospitals for 40 years. She is survived by her husband Billy Raymond Coulter; six children: Debra Joy Coulter, Suzanne (Steven) Lancaster, Randall (Judy) Coulter, Bryan (Kim) Coulter, David (Shari) Coulter and Mark (Amy) Coulter; 25 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one on the way; and one sister, Nancy (Stephen) Reeder.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 3, at 11 a.m. at Mountain View Mortuary, 3115 E. 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, Utah. There will be a viewing held Thursday, March 2 from 6-8 p.m., and one held prior to the services Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the same location.
