Mary Jane Gonzales Lovato, 65, returned to our heavenly father on Jan. 10, 2015, after being cared for by the very affectionate team at the University of Utah Hospital. She is preceded in death by her father Jose; mother Mary; brother Barolin; daughter Nicole; daughter-in-law Courtney and granddaughter Destiny, whom she loved and missed every day. Born July 25, 1949 in Llano, New Mexico, to Jose and Mary Gonzales, she grew up in Tooele, Utah, graduated from Tooele High School in 1967, and received her associate degree from Salt Lake Community College in 2003. She married her husband of 44 years on June 20, 1970. Together, they raised three sons. She is survived by her husband, Jose Uvaldo Lovato; sons Danny (Jennifer), Sammy (Tricia) and Anthony (Marci); grandchildren Christopher, JD, Danielle, Stephanie, Scott, Cayden, Jereth, Kylee, Leilani, Adrien, Noni and Abran, whom she loved endlessly. She loved camping, fishing and was a frequent bingo player and also enjoyed her adventures to Wendover with her loving family and friends. She was probably the biggest Green Bay Packers fan. Services: Rosary and Viewing on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. at St. Marguerite Catholic Church, 15 S. 7th Street, Tooele, with funeral services on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015, at 11 a.m. with a viewing starting at 10 a.m., also at the church.
