Obit Patsy S. KeslerPatsy S. Kesler, 78, of American Fork, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014.

Pat was born on Nov. 21, 1936 in Preston, Idaho, to Perry Walker and Delphia Mecham Packer Smith. Pat grew up in Preston and Riverdale, Idaho, and later moved to Irwin, Idaho, where she met Calvin Kesler. Pat and Calvin were married on June 28, 1956 and the marriage was solemnized on May 23, 1963 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They later moved to Tooele, Utah, and began to raise their family. She worked for the Tooele Army Depot for 30 years and retired from DRMO in 1992. The Kesler family later moved to American Fork in 1968 where she lived until her passing. Pat will be remembered as a fun-loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her infectious laugh and sense of humor and unending kindness will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her. Pat is survived by her husband, Calvin Dean Kesler and her children, Michael L. (Cheryl), Steven S. (Michelle), Calvin Dean Jr. (Laura), and Julie. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Casey L. Kesler, Rachel L. Kesler, Jennifer Anderson, Elizabeth Kesler, Jeremy Kesler, Patrick R. Kesler, Chrystelyn A. Wise, Amanda E. Kesler, Dillon Mair, Whitley Mair, Kiley D. Quinn; her great-grandchildren: Addison Kesler, Christopher Kesler, Deegan Kesler, Charly Barkey, Chayce Barkey, Parker Nelson, Robert Anderson, Kaydence Kesler, Marcus Dean Kesler, Aurora Jade Kesler; and by her sisters, Reva Smith and Roma Warr. She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Thelma Horton, a brother, Keith Smith, and by a grandson, Christopher M Kesler (4/6/1985). Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the American Fork 4th LDS Ward Chapel, 455 E. 300 North, American Fork. Friends and family may call Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and also at an additional viewing on Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment will take place in the American Fork City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.warenski.com.
