It is with great optimism for the future and fond remembrance of the past that we announce the beautiful life of Britey Carreón. Born March 15, 1985, in South Jordan, Utah, to her parents James and Diana England, she graced us with her charismatic spirit, loyal heart, and loving nature until July 22, 2024. Britey’s vibrant energy and spirited zest for life were infectious to everyone who knew her.

Britey’s life was a testament to the power of love and faith. Although not of a particular religion, she carried a deep belief in God and found spiritual connection through gratitude. She resided in Erda, Utah, where she was not just a homemaker but the heart of her home. Her love for her family was paramount, and she nurtured this love by fostering an environment filled with joy, creativity, and warmth. Britey was a youthful soul, always ready to participate and encourage her loved ones in their passions. She enjoyed simple pleasures like drawing, painting, watching movies with her family, and spending time at the park walking her beloved dog. Her love for gardening and planting flowers made her home a vibrant sanctuary where everyone felt special and cared for.

Britey is survived by her husband, Efraím Carreón; her daughters, Kiara Raquel and Savanna Inez; her parents, James and Dianna England; her brother, Matthew England; her great-grandmother Pat Blacker; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son, Efraím Gabriel, and her grandparents, Reva and Buss England. Britey’s hope was to be reunited with her son in heaven, a testament to her enduring love and the brightness of her spirit.

Her funeral service was held Tuesday, July 30, 2024. For those who weren’t able to attend in person, a recording of the funeral is available at my.gather.app/remember/britey-carreón

We invite you to leave memories of Britey and upload photos to the memorial page, so that we may all continue to celebrate her life and the love she so freely gave to us all.
