It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Frank McAtee on Nov. 7, 2023. Born July 15, 1930, in Axtell, Kansas, to Alice Alders and Frank E. McAtee, Frank lived a full and accomplished life marked by hard work, humility, generosity, and a sense of adventure.
Frank was a man of many talents and was known for his strong work ethic, craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail. He was a generous man, always ready to lend a helping hand.
Frank was preceded in death by his loving wife Joyce McAtee, parents Alice Alders and Frank McAtee, and sister Dorothy Stueve (George). Frank’s spirit lives on in his children, Teresa Neil (Jeffery), and David McAtee (Judy Castagno); his grandchildren Brandi Sagers, Dustin Neil, Kendal Neil, Shawn Sagers, Patrick McAtee, Parker McAtee; his great-grandchildren, and his great-great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Tate Mortuary, 110 S. Main St., Tooele, Utah. A viewing will also take place Friday, Nov. 17, 2023, at 1:15 p.m., followed by a funeral mass at 2 p.m., at St. Marguerite Catholic Church, 15 S. 7th St, Tooele. Interment will be at the Rush Valley (Clover) Cemetery.
