Obit Rick ByrneOur loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away peacefully on Monday, Aug. 11, 2015. He was born in Butte, Montana, on March 21, 1950, to James Byrne and Margaret Allen. He married the love of his life, Karen Marie Holten, in August of 1969. Together they had three children, Tracy, Michelle and Ricky. Rick worked as a mechanic and his passion was his family, working on race cars and being as mischievous as possible. He loved riding motorcycles, hanging with his buddies (Ed Berger Sr., Bill Gelling Sr. and Mel Baker) and in general enjoying life to the fullest. Rick is survived by his children Tracy Aragon, Michelle Green (Jeno Bins) and Ricky Byrne; sister Joan Lewis;  grandchildren Steven, Alexa, Dominique, Jeno, MaShalyla and Alyssa; five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by the love of his life, Karen Marie, parents James Francis Byrne and Margaret Leona Allen Byrne, Secret Byrne; and son-in law Frankie Aragon. Huge thanks to Midtown Manor for their loving all these years. Rick is going to be missed by many and loved by all. A viewing will be held at St. Marguerite Catholic Church in Tooele, Utah, 15 S. 7th St. on Friday, Aug. 14 at 10 a.m. Mass will follow at 11 a.m., followed by interment services at the Tooele City cemetery. A luncheon will follow at St. Marguerite Catholic Church. Services entrusted with Didericksen Memorial, (435) 277-0050.
