Obit Eleanor JaramilloA spirited beacon of joy and love, Eleanor Jaramillo, affectionately known by her nickname “Hunny Bunny,” has left us a legacy of infectious laughter and warmth. Born June 10, 1938, in Taos, New Mexico, Eleanor spent her life infusing every moment with wit and charm. Having departed Oct. 27, 2023, she now rests in a place of peace and everlasting joy. She resided in Tooele, Utah, where she was known for her supportive nature of her children and unending love for those around her.

Eleanor was a masterful cook, her kitchen a haven of home cooked meals and the aroma of fresh tamales. She was a lover of life, her mischievous side often leading to bouts of shared laughter. Eleanor could fill a room with her charisma, and her beautiful smile was a source of comfort for many. Beyond her love for cooking, she enjoyed a good game of poker in Wendover, the rhythm of Spanish music, and the thrill of bingo nights. She was a member of St. Marguerite Catholic Church, her faith an integral part of her existence. To Eleanor, her family was her world, and she found immense joy in caring for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her favorite holiday was Halloween, a testament to her fun-loving and spunky spirit.

Eleanor is survived by her children Robert Jr., Tonita Loveday, Lorencita Jaramillo, and Elizabeth Keeler; their respective partners Todd, Brett, Higgs and Eric; her ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren; her sister Susan Valerio; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Alfonso Gutierrez and Lorencita Mondragon, her beloved husband Robert Sr., and her brothers Benito and Jose Gutierrez.
