It is with profound sadness that the family of Wanda (Red) Ellen Green-Severe announce her peaceful passing March 14, 2023, in Grantsville, Utah, at the age of 95.
She was born in Stockton, Utah. She was sealed to her late husband Ralph Harrison Severe in the Salt Lake Temple. Wanda raised her family of five children in Skull Valley and Grantsville, Utah, as well as Glendale, California. She was one of eight siblings.
After marrying her husband in 1945, they lived on the Severe family ranch in Skull Valley where over time they built a house of available materials, including discarded ammunition crates. There was no electricity or indoor plumbing and certainly no phone.
Later in life, she enjoyed taking long walks in her neighborhood. One of her greatest joys was to spend time with family on special occasions.
Wanda was preceded in passing by her husband Ralph, and her daughter Lori Wilkinson. She is survived by her children Melody (Rod) Bell, Ramon (Connie) Severe, Neal (Susan) Severe and Kevin (Maria) Severe; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves one brother Lyn (Francis) Green.
Service was held Monday, March 20, 2023, in Grantsville.
