Dorella Lee Wilson, 57, died at her home unexpectedly in Apache Junction, Arizona, on July 1, 2015. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Dec. 27, 1957. Dorella is predeceased by her parents Chester and Martha Wells, as well as her husband, John. She is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Kent Shortman. She is also survived by her siblings Teresa, Linda, Michael and Arva as well as her children Melissa, Ashley, Jonathon and Jared. Funeral services will be held at the Ironwood Ward, 2520 E. Old West Highway 89, Apache Junction, Arizona, on July 18, 2015, at 11 a.m. Dorella’s life was marked by her sincere passion for making the world a better place through her work with children in the education field, which she approached with great fervor. Dorella had an infectious laugh and an incredible sense of humor, but also enjoyed a deep appreciation for the Lord and all of his creations. She left a lasting impression on the lives of everyone she encountered and will be missed dearly.
