Krystal Gay McGuiness was born Oct. 8, 1975, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She returned to her Heavenly Father on May 12, 2021, at her home in Stockton.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of of Latter-day Saints. She loved the Savior. She had a love of the outdoors, Dutch oven cook outs, music, especially U2, and her daughters and grandchildren. She loved to play tractors with her grandson Adam and cuddle with her granddaughter Kathryn. Krystal was a social butterfly with many friends near and far. She was a hard worker, starting to work at the age of 15 at Reams. Her grandpa had her go and talk to the manager to get her first job. She moved up quickly and loved her job. Later she went to work at Albertson’s Grocery in Tooele and had several management positions. At one time she was working three jobs, including Nettys just for the socializing. She loved to talk to the regular customers everywhere she worked. She loved to help others and make others smile. Many times even though she may have been struggling, she continued to try and help those around.
Krystal graduated from Grantsville High School. She was married to Richard Gray and later divorced.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother Elsie Hale, her grandfather George Elsholz, her precious niece Michelle, several good friends, and her beloved cat “Tiger.”
She is survived by her grandmother Mazel Elsholz; mother Korrine McGuiness; siblings Trudy (Ken) Jones, Brett McGuiness, Becky (Justin) Fields, Lisa Boyer, Joee (John) Salas, Troy (Laura) Elsholz; the joy and loves of her life her daughters Laurien (Briley) Farr, Paige (Dallon) King; her grandchildren Adam and Kathryn King; many nieces and nephews; and boyfriend Jeff Wright.
