Betty Lou Jones passed away peacefully Oct. 2, 2020. Betty was born June 20, 1931, to Charles R. and Cleo D. Crawford in Milford, Utah.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Jack Jr. Jones, her daughter Betty Jean Shields and her son Larry.
She is survived by her children Cherie L. Bigelow (Steve), Charles “Chick” M. Jones (Teresa); and her son-in-law Dean Shields. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and soon to be great-great-grandchild, who knew her as “Meme.”
A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., Oct. 8, 2020, at Tate Mortuary 110 S. Main St., Tooele, Utah. Interment will follow at the Tooele City Cemetery with a graveside service at 11 a.m.
Betty was very sociable and joined many different clubs and activities. She had many, many, friends. Betty was loved by all who knew her. She was kind and giving. Betty was a strong woman and a great example to us all. Betty loved her family deeply. She was our confidant and champion.
She will be missed every day!
