Our beloved “Jo” returned to her Heavenly Father on June 27, 2020, at the age of 82. She was born to George and Vella Moser in Tooele, Utah, on March 29, 1938.
She graduated from Tooele High School in 1957 and LDS Business College in 1960 and worked for ZCMI in the corporate offices until her retirement. Joyce was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved music, the color purple, John Wayne, the Utah Jazz and her extended family at the Rocky Mountain Care Facility.
She is survived by her sister Judy (Ed) Mortensen of Emery, Utah; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Vella Moser and her sister Geraldine (Gerrie) Pogorzelski.
Honoring her final wishes, there will be graveside services at the Tooele City Cemetery on Thursday, July 2, 2020, at 11 a.m.
A very special thank you to the staff at the Rocky Mountain Care Facility for their many years of devoted love and care they gave to “Bev.” Thank you to the Mountain West Medical Center ER and ICU for their expert care and the Rocky Mountain Care Hospice team as they lovingly prepared her for her next journey.
