Obit Dennis Leroy Lougy 1Dennis Leroy Lougy, son of Egerton LeRoy and Audrey Rowsell Lougy, born March 29, 1943, returned peacefully to Heavenly Father on March 28, 2020.

Obit Dennis Leroy Lougy 2Dennis was a gentle, kind, loving husband, father and grandfather who would do anything to help those around him. He cherished his eternal sweetheart, Lynne, dearly. She preceded him in death. We know their reunion was sweet.

Dennis was a self-proclaimed mountain man who loved hunting, fishing, camping, and all things outdoors. He often took the family for drives in the canyons, looking for deer and enjoying the beauty of the fall colors.

Dennis spent the last several years living in the Country Pines community, where he made many new friends.

He is survived by his older sister, Maxine Orton (Tooele) and his six children, whom he called his precious angels, Karen, Bryan (Nancy Cragun), Sherri (Siosifa Mahe), Deanna, Matthew (Wendi Draude) and April (Todd Larsen). He loved being grandpa to 15 grandkids, and five great-grandkids.

He will be missed by numerous extended family, in-laws, and friends. We love you Dad. Give Mom our love, hugs and kisses. God be with you ‘til we meet again.

We wish to express our love and gratitude to all who have been a positive influence in Dennis’ life over his 77 years on this earth. We love you all.

Dennis will be interred in the Tooele City Cemetery on Wednesday, April 1, 2020. In lieu of flowers, etc. we request that all who knew and loved Dennis please do an act of kindness for someone during this time of difficult circumstances. Due to the current social circumstances, there will not be a funeral, only a grave dedication which will be attended by his children and sister. We hope to get together at a later time to share memories of Dennis.
