Gabriele Helene Moir, 61, passed away Dec. 18, 2019, from acute kidney arrest.
She was born in Basel, Switzerland, to Ernst Fredrich Minder and Heidy Rosa Thompson.
After a divorce, Heidy took her five children to America to start a new life. Gabriele was the third child, first daughter, to what would be seven children. Nolan J. Thompson eventually adopted Gabriele and siblings.
Gabriele always had a song in her heart and a smile on her lips. She loved children, animals, and music, all which constantly filled their home.
She was proceeded in death by her mother, biological father, brother, all grandparents, and many others.
She is survived by her husband David Moir; children Daniel (Becky) Moir, Jeffrie Moir, Sara (Grant) Moir Parker, Emily (Aaron) Moir Genther; and precious grand-children Jacquelyn, Evelyn, Simeon and Shaylee.
Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 81 Church St., Grantsville, Utah, on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019, at 10 a.m., with a viewing from 9 to 9:40 a.m. Interment will be in Grantsville in the care of Dalton-Hoopes Funeral Home.
