Obit Darrell Lloyd BradshawDarrell Lloyd Bradshaw, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather, returned home to his Heavenly Father on Friday, Aug. 30, 2019, in Grantsville, Utah, with his family by his side. He was born August 5, 1930, in Springfield, Missouri, to Ottie Frisco Bradshaw and Viola Mae Brown Bradshaw. He was the third of seven children.

Darrell married Norma Staples in Tooele, Utah, on Dec. 8, 1948. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on Jan. 6, 1972. Norma passed away April 7, 2005.

Darrell’s life was an example of hard work. He loved and served his family. They were his pride and joy. He leaves them a great legacy to follow. He had a beautiful yard; there isn’t anything he couldn’t grow. He and Norma loved to travel and had visited all 50 states and Canada, but their favorite part of traveling was coming home. He was a past member of the Tooele Gem & Mineral Society. Darrell had a passion for genealogy; he spent countless hours researching his family. His two most repeated quotes were, “Family is everything. Without that you don’t have anything!” and “Always treat others the way you want to be treated.”

Darrell is survived by his daughters, Sheryl Lawrence, Darlene (Richard) Anderson, Joanne (Robert) Booth; and son, Darrell Wade Bradshaw; 12 grandchildren, Steven, Douglas, and Richard Lawrence, Brad and Rick Anderson, Richelle Stirling, Michael, Jennifer, Jeffery, Bobbi Jo, and Matthew Booth, and Kyrstyn Bradshaw; 20 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren; brother, Glen Bradshaw; sisters, Dorothy Spencer, and Geraldine Hunter; brother-in-law, Harold (Audrey) Staples; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; brothers, Ralph, Wayne, and Leon; and son-in-law, Melbourne Lawrence Jr.

Special thanks to the caring staff at Diamond Jane’s Assisted Living, Harmony Hospice, and Tooele 3rd Ward.

Funeral service will be Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019, at the Tooele 3rd Ward, 141 W. Utah Ave. (200 North). A viewing will be held from 9–10:45 a.m., funeral will follow at 11 a.m.
