Frank Lacey Sneed passed away at home Feb. 7, 2019, after a life-long battle with his heart. He was so brave and fought a long hard battle to the end.
Frank was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on April 18, 1956. He was 62. His mother was Janet F. Sneed and father was Frank Daniel Sneed. Frank was the oldest of four children. He leaves behind two brothers, Randolph D. (Tracie) and Bradley G (Lolly) Sneed; and one sister, Sandy Lee (Marty) Gilly.
He is survived by his wife of nineteen years, Valerie Sneed; three daughters, Lacey (Todd) Thomas, Nicole (Chris) Empey, Joslynn Sheriff and partner Daron Larsen; granddaughters, Bailey and Brooklyn Thomas, Paige Palmer, Allie Empey; and only grandson, Cole Empey. He also had three nephews and seven nieces, and his Aunt Bird (Charlene) who he was always close to, and many loving cousins.
Frank had too many friends to count. He was a wonderful, thoughtful, sweet person that everyone loved and he will be so missed by us all.
As a family, they moved to Utah in 1968 when Frank was twelve years old and he found his forever home. He loved everything about living in Grantsville: the horseback riding, roping, hunting, fishing and camping, and the many friends he partied with.
Frank was preceded in death by his baby son, Frank L Sneed, Sept. 14, 1977 – Nov. 15, 1977; and his father, Frank Daniel Sneed, Feb. 7, 1934 – Nov. 12, 2000; and a special nephew, Ryan Daniel Sneed, May 20, 1986 – Aug. 30, 2002.
A celebration of life was held Saturday, Feb. 9 at Dalton Hoopes Funeral Home where there was a wonderful turnout.
