Sara Ann Niswonger, peacefully passed away at the age of 71 in the early hours of Monday, Sept. 24, 2018, at the Rocky Mountain Care Center in Tooele, Utah.
She was born May 3, 1947, in McGill, Nevada, to her parents, George and Oma Lee. She moved to Tooele as a young woman where she worked at many local businesses, including Tooele Army Depot, as well as running a daycare from her home in Tooele for many years. She was a mother to two boys when she married her current husband, Dale Niswonger, in 1988. They have been happily married since.
She had many hobbies including quilting, baking, canning and her favorite iPad games. She loved her many animals she owned during her life, but none more than her dog, Bear. She enjoyed traveling and camping whenever possible. She was an amazing listener and loved having great conversations. She loved plants and flowers. She touched many hearts and will be dearly missed by all.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Niswonger; sons, Paul (Jeri) and Gary (Wendy) Edwards; step-daughter Tammy (Mike) Church; grandchildren, Gennessy and Collin Edwards and Ryan Church; and her brother, Robert Lee.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Oma Lee; brother, Ron Lee; and sister, Rae Jean Casteel.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 28, 2018, at the LDS Church at 1030 S. 900 West, Tooele, Utah. Viewing will begin at 11 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 12 p.m. and graveside service to follow.
