“Rode off into the Sunset”
Jacob rode off into the sunset on Thursday, March 15, 2018. Jacob was born on Jan. 10, 1990, to Dan and LeAnn Madsen. He was an amazing fiancé, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Jacob would help anyone he could, even if it meant watching YouTube to figure it out.
His greatest love was Trisha and the “herd:” Alexis, Gregory, Makayla and Jaxon. We will miss his passion for life and never ending energy that touched so many lives. We will also miss his humor, love of all things food, and most of all, the love he had for his family and friends.
Jacob is survived by his parents; Trisha; four children; sisters, Mindy (Chance) and Emily; brothers, Shane and Shaun; and grandpa, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by many uncles, grandparents and his horse, Ginger. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 21 at 11 a.m. at the Stansbury Ward, 390 Village Blvd, Stansbury Park. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 20 from 7-9 p.m. at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Road, West Jordan, as well as one hour prior to the service on March 21 at the Stansbury Ward.
